Why Spectrum of Yoga?

Yoga is a mechanism for bringing light.

Lightness of body through movement, light in the mind through control over thoughts, and light in the soul through changes in our interactions with ourselves and others.

Yoga is for everyone.

People vary widely, a spectrum of variety. But yoga is for everyone, regardless of age, shape, size, knowledge, experience, physical and mental ability.

Yoga is multifaceted

There are 8 limbs of yoga, only one being the asanas, or physical postures. Other aspects include the yamas (abstinences), niyamas (observances), pranayama (breathing), pratyahara (withdrawl), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation), and samadhi (absorption). Within the physical practice there are even many types including Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Iyengar, and Viniyoga among many others.
